Though her work typically depicts suburban scenes, Leah Giberson was raised by artists deep in the woods of New Hampshire. She received her BFA in painting from Massachusetts College of Art in 1997 and has lived in Boston ever since. She made her living as an interactive designer and art director for over ten years, but now paints almost full time. Giberson has had recent solo exhibitions at Gallery M, Boston (2009); Nahcotta, Portsmouth (2009); and Office PDX, Portland, OR (2008). Her work has also been included in Nahcotta’s Enormous Tiny Art shows since September 2008 as well as numerous other group shows, online galleries and private collections.
